I am currently a support worker for adults with disabilities. I support 4 adults within their home with the day to day running of the house which includes cooking, cleaning, budgeting and medication administration. I have completed a number of training programs whilst with the company including peg (tube) feeding, stoma, evacuation sledge and manual handling. Whilst working with these adults I provide emotional support and guidance. This allows them to be able to live their life to the fullest by partaking in activities within the home and in the community. To offer the best support possible for these individuals I liaise with other professionals to ensure their care plans are up to date and we are able to provide the best support possible.
