I am currently a senior nursing assistant Giving personal care to patients ● Carrying out urine tests ● Documenting accurately in patient notes ● ECG, cannulation, and phlebotomy ● General housekeeping ● Answering the telephone in a professional manner ● Dealing with distressing and upsetting situations professionally ● Assisting with patient transfers to other wards and departments ● Wound dressings ● Setting up of medical equipment ● Raising any concerns to the registered Nurse or Nurse in charge ● Ordering of blood labels via EPR ● Following correct procedures if patient is showing signs of deterioration ● Challenging anyone who enters the ward without ID ● Liaising with different departments to solve problems and improve patient experiences
