I have been working in health and social care for 6 years. Starting as a PA for young adults with learning disabilities progressing to rehabilitation assistant for Southend borough council working as a multi disciplinary team to ensure patients were cared for in their own home after hospital discharge or from gp referral. I am currently a self employed carer looking to support people of any age and ability in their own home promoting their own independence and doing the things they enjoy aswell as ensuring their care needs are met.
