I am 56 years old and Married with 4 grown up children.

Although I have no qualifications,I spent 7 years as a self employed carer for an elderly gentleman in Westcliff.

I was his only carer and worked 7 days a week,main hours 7 to 2 in the morning and 4 to 6 in the Evening.During the 7 years I had no holidays or days off.

Sadly at the age of 95 he became very ill and passed away last July.

My main duties for him were cooking,cleaning,all housework,shopping,visits to doctors.and personal care and obviously companionship.

I do have a car so travelling is not a problem
